Travelling to Barracks Cottage will be a memorable part of your visit. You will pass through Scotland’s finest scenery of lochs, valleys and mountain ranges. Your journey culminates in the thrilling drive over the Ratagan Pass into Glenelg.
Glenelg has the right balance of seclusion and accessibility. The village is 4.5 – 5 hours by car from Edinburgh and the same from Glasgow. A bus service runs from major cities to Shiel Bridge. The nearest railway station is at Kyle of Lochalsh. Flights from throughout the UK and Ireland come to Inverness Airport.
